What to bring

This piece is written as a packing guide for one of our international track events. As Motocraft events run over a number of days there are a few essentials that you should consider taking with you. Doing this will make your trip so much more enjoyable and, in turn, enable you to Explore Your Potential to its fullest.

Pack both keys, one with the bike and one separately. Check that they’re for the correct bike. Travelling all the way to the circuit of your dreams and not being able to ride because your keys are back in your house doesn’t bare thinking about!

Fit the correct track biased tyres. Bring a spare set if you think you’ll need them or order them to be supplied in the paddock. To this end a set of paddock stands are essential for both changing tyres as well as fitting tyre warmers.

The warmers will require an extension lead as well as an adaptor plug.

Smaller pieces such as chain lube, a fuel funnel, a basic toolkit and spare footpegs /levers /clip-ons, a tyre gauge and engine oil will all fit on the stillage along with any specialised tools. Fuel containers are available at each circuit, so there’s no need to pack one.
